“ Yesterday was my first time visiting here and when I tell you this food was so good, it was amazing! The oxtails were perfectly seasoned and tender the meat easily fell off the bone, rice and cabbage also flavorful as well and I usually don't eat plantain but these were also very tasty as well. The nice man that took my order was very patient and provided me with more information about the menu and what they have to offer and the food came out so quick as well! I definitely plan on returning soon to try other menu items. ”
“ Island Sizzle is a small stand alone building on an island. You will see what I am talking about if you visit! There is no dine in. I ordered the Ox tail and Jerk Chicken from the window from a gentleman. The food came out fast! The oxtails were $13.99 Wow! What a deal! It came with 2 pieces of oxtails, 2 plantains, cabbage and rice and beans. The oxtails were wonderful! Good flavor. Tender. What it should be! The rice and beans were cooked well. No complaints there. Cabbage was good. The Jerk chicken $12.95 (dinner) was pretty dry but still edible. If you're looking for a quick, fair priced meal that will get you full try Island sizzle! ”
“ Pros: portion size was great! You get bang for your buck, plus the food stayed hot for a long time which I liked. Oxtails were flavorful and I love plantain Con: the rice and sides aren't flavorful. Jerk wings were ok, but wanted to try curry goat. They were out Overall: reminds me of a drive thru chain for Caribbean food. I prefer Cool Runnings but support small businesses ”

“ Delicious!!!! I got Oxtails obviously and the beef Patty! Omg both were DELICOUS! I saw some people saying it tasted old but I disagree. It tasted fresh and looked fresh!! Everything was flavorful and just the right amount of everything. I dont care much for cabbage so I'll ignore that and the rice and peas were... rice and peas lol! But man I willl be back! ”
“ Having in laws from the West Indies and being a former Floridian I miss this food like crazy! My daughter and husband's oxtail was cooked and seasoned perfect as was my curry goat. The beef patties were delicious and had just a faint hint of heat. We will be back weekly lol. ”
“ Visit was Tuesday 07/21/2020 - we were a bit surprised when we approached this place and now we understand why they do not have done in available lol We pre ordered our food by phone and it was almost ready when we came to pick it up. They have a lil drive thru. It appears to be like a one man show, but we were highly excited about the food when we started eating it at home. The oxtails were very tender and fell off the bones easily. The rice and cabbage was cooked on point and the beans were very tasty. In addition to the food we also ordered Jamaican soda which was imported from Jamaica, only the grape flavored one originated out of Canada. It was a big portion so we have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. This type of food is easy to be reheated and taste also very good the next day. We are certain that we will stop by again and pick up Jamaican food. Thank you so much for the dining experience tonight! ”
“ Went back with hubby the other day and ordered the lunch jerk chicken and lunch oxtail... well let's say it lasted all day! It was good food all together. The rice and peas went well with the jerk and oxtails. The service was good and on time. ”
